The conference will be held at Utö Värdshus in the Southern Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden.
Utö is a beautiful small island in the southern Stockholm archipelago, famous for its nature. Utö has a unique geology with many rare minerals, and hosts the oldest iron-ore mines in Sweden, which were in use from the 12th century until 1878. Many remnants of the human occupation and the fascinating science history can still be seen today. In the late 19th century, Utö developed also into a fashionable beach and spa resort complete with soirées and high society balls. Some of the more famous guests included the artist Anders Zorn, Hollywood film star Greta Garbo, and author August Strindberg. Today, Utö is one of the most popular destinations in the Stockholm archipelago.
